Glenray Helps Kickstart 2BS and B-Rock Christmas Toy Appeal with Hawaiian Shirt Fundraiser

Glenray has officially kickstarted the 2BS and B Rock Christmas Toy Appeal with a $6,880 donation, raised by staff through a limited-edition Hawaiian shirt fundraiser. Designed as a fun summer uniform option, staff purchased the custom shirts as part of a workplace fundraiser, combining team culture with local charity support.

Glenray employees voted collectively to direct the funds to the annual Christmas Toy Appeal, purchasing custom Hawaiian uniforms that they could wear to work while generating vital funds to buy Christmas presents for local children in need.

The donation was presented to the 2BS and B Rock team on Thursday, 15 October 2026, at Glenray’s head office on Howick Street, where staff proudly showed off their colourful new uniforms. Glenray CEO Scott Green praised the team's enthusiasm and community spirit:

"It’s really pleasing that the Glenray team chose to support such a rewarding local cause. Bringing extra smiles to children's faces on Christmas morning is a real gift for all of us, and it’s been fantastic seeing our staff embrace such a fun new uniform for a great cause."

During the presentation 2BS / B Rock Station Manager, Nils Gustafson expressed deep gratitude to Glenray for the early boost:

"Thank you once again for the extremely generous donation. You and your staff will make a significant impact on young people in the region this Christmas."

The 2026 2BS and B Rock Christmas Toy Appeal officially launches in November.  Businesses and individuals can get involved by donating a new toy or gift at the 2BS studios at 109 George Street, Bathurst, or making a financial contribution. Every little bit makes a difference.
