Glenray – COVID Vaccination Clinic

Glenray leads the way on COVID vaccination in the Central West

Glenray held their second pop up COVID vaccination clinic on Thursday 2nd September, 2021 where 138 doses of the Pfizer vaccine were administered, bringing the total vaccinated staff at Glenray up to 88% and Glenray residential clients vaccination rate up to 92%.

Supporting people living with a disability is Glenray’s purpose and helping them to access vaccinations has been a priority. Glenray appreciate the help of Aspen Medical for their support in implementing and administering the doses of vaccine at both clinics.

‘The focus now more than ever is on the safety and wellbeing of our clients, our team and the community, and we are incredibly proud of the willingness of our staff and clients to come down and get vaccinated’ said Kate Gorrell Manager for People and Culture at Glenray.

Glenray have adapted to the changing environment very quickly, with a significant uptake of the vaccines amongst staff ensuring that they can continue to maintain essential supports for people living with a disability in our community.

As the Australian Government Department of Health continues to gain more experience with the virus, Glenray will continue to implement these learnings and safety measures throughout our sites. Glenray continue to take all necessary actions to protect their staff, clients and the community.
